The 18th Edition is almost here!
The new IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition will be issued on 2nd July 2018.
Electrical contractors and electricians will have a six-month transition period to get up to speed with the changes. From January 1st 2019, it will then be a requirement that all electrical installations designed after this date comply with BS 7671:2018, 18th Edition.
The Regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, also additions and alterations to existing installations.
